The SmartSense Presence sensor permits you to receive updates about a person, pet, or object’s location. When the SmartSense Presence comes out and in of the range of the Hub, you’ll be able to receive notifications on your smartphone. As well as, you’ll be able to also trigger other Smart Things-compatible devices to perform different actions (i.e.: lights to turn on or off, a door to lock or unlock) when people or things come and go. This ZigBee device requires the SmartThings Hub.
