This precision bit will open the special oval head screws used in most Jura, Jura Capresso, Nespresso, Krups and AEG machines. The bit can be utilized by hand, or with any 1/4″ bit driver.

Where to find the security bolts that allow access into your Espresso Machine:

Please note the following:

J-series, Z-series, and X5: There are two hidden security screws at the back of the Jura logo in the back. Turn the logo an eight of a turn clockwise (Z-series/X5) or counter-clockwise (J-series) to release it and you’ll find the screws.

ENA-series: These machines are secured with a locking mechanism. There is a security screw at the back of the Jura logo in the back. Turn the logo to counter-clockwise release it and you’ll find the screw. Remove the screw and then push the gray plate upwards to release the locking mechanism in the back. Likewise, there’s another oval head screw in the front that will be visible when you pull out the tray. The locking mechanism in the front must be pulled down (in contrast to the one in the rear that moves upwards).

This precision bit lets you perform your own maintenance on your Jura, Jura Capresso, Krups, AEG and Nespresso machine without sending all the machine back to the factory. The Jura service repair tool is the only method to remove the black factory security screws to access the inside of your machine.
The perfectly fitting tool allows your to remove your factory security bolts in all Jura machines, including the Z series. 4 philips screws are included to replace your factory bolts, as over tightening the black security bolts after performing maintenance will shorten the life of this service repair tool. We recommend that you replace the security bolts with the provided screws to allow easier maintenance someday.
Most often, the factory security bolts are obvious and appear as black “rivets”. They cannot be removed with any normal household tool without damaging or scratching the machine. On the various more recent models Jura has hidden the screws which makes it less obvious how to disassemble the machines.
