  The Iris Hub, which is hooked up to a home’s broadband router, captures signals put out by smart devices.  It is usually compatible with WiFi devices.  The hub relays the signals to the cloud from which they are able to be accessed and regulated by way of a smart phone or internet-hooked up tablet or computer.
