Dummy Security Cameras can be utilized to augment your existing security system by creating the impression that you’ve more camera coverage than is in reality installed. They may be able to also be used to temporarily replace faulty cameras in case spares don’t seem to be to be had even as repairs are being performed. This dummy camera is designed to look like a white out of doors dome camera and includes a blinking red LED to indicate camera activity (when batteries are installed). The round base can also be mounted on a vertical or horizontal surface with proper camera orientation. Requires using two AA batteries (not included) for LED activity. Note: In keeping with style of real security cameras this dummy camera does not have a switch to turn the “activity” LED on or off. The LED can also be enabled by installing batteries and can also be disabled by removing the batteries.
