The KEF X300A is a premium powered digital hifi loudspeaker system developed to offer the highest resolution digital music reproduction from a PC / MAC desktop or laptop computer via distortion-free USB input. A user can also connect an Apple® iPod®, iPhone® iPad®, Android®, Kindle Fire® or any other digital device direct to the system via analogue input.

The KEF Engineers designed X300A to by-pass a computers internal DAC to make use of the audiophile grade DAC in each X300A speaker.

Unlike typical active computer speaker designs, each X300A speaker has two Class AB audiophile grade amplifiers; one for HF and one for LF/MF. This configuration results in a much cleaner sound and greater Regulate at higher levels. X300A also features high performance toroidal transformers which minimise hum noise and electromagnetic interference, in keeping with the most productive pro audio monitors To be had today.

To get the easiest from the four total Class AB amplifiers, an award-winning Uni-Q driver design adapted from KEF’s flagship Blade speaker is featured in the X300A.
