Description

The S215V is a trapezoid design cabinet, with oversize steel handles, steel corner protectors, and a steel jackplate with both dual Speakonâ and high current, heavy duty Switchcraft®1/4″ input jacks. Covered in tough black carpet, it has a heavy gauge perforated steel grille for motive force protection. The woofers, or low frequency drivers are high power, use cast aluminum frames, with a cooling port within the pole piece for extended high power handling. The High frequency motive force is a custom, 2″ diaphragm (1″ exit) design with an exclusive phase plug that reduces harmonic distortion throughout the motive force itself. This motive force is mated to a custom Yamaha 90° x 40° constant directivity horn to present smooth, even coverage over the pattern of the horn. All three drivers are custom made by Eminence®. The inner passive crossover has protection circuitry to assist guard against damage that can happen from over powering the S215V. This loudspeaker is manufactured here in the us. It’s covered by a 3-year warranty.
